The Governing Body of Swaffham Hamond's High School consists of:

• 7 Parent Governors
• 4 Local Authority Governors
• 3 Staff Governors
• 4 Community Governors

The Governing Body is committed to ensuring that Swaffham Hamond's High School provides the best education in a welcoming and caring environment which puts the individual first. We support the five outcomes of the government's initiative 'Every Child Matters: Change for Children' programme and aspire to:

• Keep our students safe from bullying, harassment and discrimination
• Encourage our students to develop healthy and active lifestyles
• Ensure each student progresses as well as they possibly can
• Ensure that students attend school regularly, giving them a strong voice in the life of the school and encouraging them to volunteer to help others
• Help all to value education and to appreciate that it is key to success in later life

The Governing Body is committed to supporting the school to meet these five outcomes and to raise the standard of education for our students.
